Last Day of First and Third Grade May 2019

We recently finished up our school year.  Here is a look at how we celebrated the last full day.

For breakfast I made sunshine shaped banana pancakes with chocolate chip faces.  Even though rainy season will be starting soon in Guatemala we are still celebrating summer.

After breakfast we took some "last day of school" pictures.  A lot of them.

These are all of his readers this school year.

I asked him to pick his favorite and he couldn't.  Instead he chose his top four.  Clyde Robert Bulla books have always been his favorites.  He has loved every one he has read so far.

Hello summer!

We spent the past week at a homeschool conference with our mission board.  It was an amazing week!  The boys did testing there and both of them are on grade level.  Praise the Lord!!! Hearing that brought me great joy and great relief.  This homeschool job is hard work.  It is reassuring to know that we are making progress.  Second and Fourth grade here we come!!!
