Down on the Farm

We were recently invited to spend the afternoon at the farm of a family we met in our homeschool group.  They thought our boys would enjoy seeing the animals and helping feed them.  They have two young kids too so it was also an opportunity for them to all play together.  I did not tell the boys until we finished school that day that we were going.  It would have been hard to keep them focused.

ready to explore the farm

Seeing all of the baby animals was probably their most favorite thing of all.

The farm was big and the animals were spread out so we had to drive to see the different ones.  Getting to ride like this reminded them of being back in Guatemala on the mountain roads.

They had a few miniature horses the boys got to ride.  They loved that!

When they were not riding they were leading them around.

Ben fell in love with that little black and white dog and would have wanted to take him home if he could.

fun time with friends

We enjoyed the fresh air and being outdoors.  We enjoyed the animals and getting to pet and feed them.  We also enjoyed the fellowship time we had while there.  It was a fun outing and we are thankful for families like this one that gave a little of their time to spend it with us.
