We recently had a fun night out with our friends the Browns attending the launch party of the Mississippi Championship Hot Air Balloon Fest in Canton, MS.

This was a display on the courthouse square. It was a few days before the 4th of July but we were enjoying it anyway. We have loved being home for the Independence Day celebrations this year. It has been ten years since we were home for that holiday and our boys have never celebrated in the States.

We enjoyed getting to catch up with our friend Jana. She is the executive director for the Canton CVB. She does a great job putting together events like this one.
We laid out our blanket and chairs on the courthouse square and waited
for the activities to begin. There was live music, food trucks, and of
course a few balloons to see.
