On Monday night we had our monthly fellowship gathering with our Chiquimula missionary community. It was our time to host so I chose to have it at the mall food court in Chiquimula. It has a great play land and a good variety of food options so I thought it would be a good place to have it. We pushed several tables together so we could all visit while we ate. Afterwards we went around the table and each family unit shared one personal prayer request and one ministry prayer request. The person sitting next to them prayed for them when they finished sharing. It was a fun night and we enjoyed getting to visit and get to know some of the other missionaries a little better. We enjoy being around other missionaries, and hearing their stories of life on the mission field. We missed the ones who could not be there, and we are hoping to see them at next month's gathering.
In addition to our family there was Larry and Marla Johnson, Nancy Sheldon, Mimi, David and Vicky Byrd and their daughter Melissa and newborn granddaughter Brianna.
