Things Are Moving Right Along

On Saturday morning we had a visit from our friend/ partner Dan Watson from Honduras.  He drove over to meet with us and make plans for the upcoming months.  We discussed several ways that we would like to partner together this year, but the most important one for now was continuing with the agriculture work in the village of Lagunetas.   The next step will be starting a stove project in that village.  We are not talking about nice, new electric or gas stoves, haha.  These will still be stoves that the women will use firewood to cook on but they require less wood.  It will also have proper ventilation that will keep the smoke out of the kitchen.  This is much healthier for the families. We will be meeting with the students that participated in the training sessions later this month about this project, and plan to begin installing a few stoves around the first of February.

On another note, a huge prayer praise is that we finally received permission to start having a Bible study in that village.  We had our first study this past Sunday and made plans to return this coming weekend.  I'll post about that later this week.

Please continue to pray for the village of Lagunetas and the people there.  Pray for us as we continue to build relationships with them, and share God's love with them.
