A Cookout In Camotan

On Tuesday we attended the monthly fellowship with the other missionaries living in our department.  Although it was a warm day we enjoyed a cookout and some outdoor fellowship.  This month it was hosted by Bill and Jean.  They are a retired couple who spend around six months out of the year here working with the people.  Jean is our landlords sister.  They will be returning to the States in a few short weeks so it was good to see them one last time before they leave.
Here is Bill cooking our lunch
They grilled shish-k-bobs and we were to all bring a dish to go with it.  I made homemade mac 'n cheese and some chess squares.  Our meal was delicious!

These were yum, yum!  They were made with beef, chicken, peppers, onion, and pineapple.  They also grilled hot dogs for the kids.

We met under this covered patio next to their house.  It is a great place to have an outdoor meal.

Cruz enjoyed getting to play with the other kids.  It was fun for him as well.

We will miss next months gathering because we will be in Guatemala City having our baby, but we will look forward to the next time we can all visit again.
