This Sunday was not a day of rest

Bro. Juan wanted to make a "few" prayer visits during the afternoon before our night service. We had no idea that it would become a full day of prayer walking, but it turned out to be quite fun. Our first stop was in Naranjo Fray. There have recently been 5 people to become believers there. They are meeting in a home. We met with them and had a time of prayer and encouragement with them.

Our next stop was in the village of Jovente. We prayed in this church with some of the believers.

This is the church in the village of Semarak. This is Bro. Juan with the pastor and his wife.

We then went to Semuc and prayed there. This is their church building.

We all ate sliced watermelon here. It was refreshing. Beside this church is a radio station- Radio Vida (Life Radio). This is a photo of the station.
On our next stop was in Aguacatin. There we hiked to the top of this hill to visit the church. Hiking back down. It was a lot steeper than it looks in this photo.
Next we went to the village of Agua Negra (Black Water). There were lots of chickens, ducks, and turkeys running around the church. David tried to explain to the men about turkey hunting in the States but I don't think they got the concept.
Whew! So far we had visited 10 places that day and had one more stop to make before heading back into town.
