March Newsletter

Greetings from Guatemala! There are two words that best describe the month of February for us- FULL & FUN! We had a long, but enjoyable trip to the Peten with some national K'ekchi' brothers. We showed the movie "The Passion of the Christ" there. We made valentine's cookies and passed them out to our neighbors. I flew to Mexico City to attend a ladies retreat and had a wonderful time. There were 120 ladies from all over our region in attendance. One of us turned a year older (not fun) ha. We just returned from a weekend trip to the Polochic Valley to visit a new area. We had two worship services there, saw 9 people baptized, and had 5 couples get married! It was an exciting weekend! We have been able to see several people receive Christ this month and that is always encouraging! Please pray for these new believers. It's been a great month and we thank you for all your prayers for us and our travels.

March is looking to be a little slower paced than the last few months, PTL. We have a weekend trip planned for this coming weekend to visit a church in the Peten. We have family coming to visit during their spring break. We are excited to be hosting family. It will be the first family visit we have had. Please pray for David's sister, Robin, who is scheduled to come but is having problems with her back, leg, and numbness in her foot. Pray that she can get some relief and be able to make the trip. We are also going to try to squeeze in some language classes this month to brush up on some areas.

We are enjoying some exciting times here among the K'ekchi'. We have been able to see and be a part of many great things over the last few weeks. We are thankful for our work and so happy that God has placed us here. Please continue to pray for us and our travels as we depend on them greatly. Continue to lift up the K'ekchi' people and the work here as well. We daily count it an honor to represent you here. Until next time.......

Sending our love,
David & Regina
