January Newsletter

Greetings from Guatemala! Happy New Year! We pray that it will be a blessed and prosperous one for each of you. We had a busy but fun month of December. We made two follow-up visits with our K'ekchi' brothers and showed "The Passion of the Christ" on one of them. I (Regina) attended a two day K'ekchi' ladies Bible study here in Coban. We traveled to the capital to attend our annual mission Christmas party and had a great time with our mission family. We had a great Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and were able to spend them with several other missionary families. We have had plenty of fellowship throughout the holiday. It was a blessing. We also traveled to Sayaxche' to attend a Pastor's Conference. And, in our spare time, we have painted the guest apartment here on our property. Like we said, it's been busy, but fun! Thanks for your prayers for us over this holiday time. We felt them.

January looks to be just as busy. We will attend the K'ekchi' Annual Convention here in Coban Jan. 12-15. We will travel to the town of Panajachel the 16th -18th for our annual mission Prayer Retreat. We will travel to Sayaxche' on the 21st & 22nd for the Peten Annual Meeting. Our next team arrives on the 29th. Please pray for us during the next month as we will be on the road many hours.

Just writing this is making us feel tired, ha. So, to relax a few days, we plan to travel tomorrow to the town of Flores. It is four hours north of here in the Peten. It is one of our favorite places in Guatemala. We will spend a few days there just resting and relaxing over the New Year's holiday. Pray not only for our travels but that it would be a refreshing time for us as well.

We appreciate your love, prayers, and support. We depend on it more than you know. We look forward to a new year to serve the Lord here in Guatemala and are honored to be called of Him. Until next time...

Sending our love,
