This past Sunday we had two great times of worship. We drove down to McComb on Sunday morning to meet David's dad and step-mother at First Baptist Church, McComb. We had a great service there with them. Jodi (his step-mother) cooked us a delicious lunch and we spent the afternoon sitting around and catching up. It was a great visit.

Sunday night we went to First Baptist Church, Bude, to visit our friends, Joseph and Misty and their kids. Bro. Joseph was minister of music at our home church before we left. Him and David worked together in ministy for several years. It was great to see them.

And this is Emily Grace. She is in kindergarden. It is hard to believe how much they have grown up in the two short years we have been away.
They had a guest musical group so after the service they had a finger food fellowship for everyone. This was a hightlight of our day! Seeing all the food and desserts made us really happy. We enjoyed the buffet dinner.

Bro. Joseph is the minister of music and this is the pastor, Bro. Brad. Several years ago David went on a mission trip to Mexico with him and enjoyed getting to know him. It was good to catch up with him as well. We are hoping they will make it down to Guatemala one day.
