Our weather has been really nice lately. We have been having pretty sunny days, occasional afternoon showers, and cool nights. Almost perfect temperatures, not too hot and not too cold, but just right. This morning started out looking like another pretty day so we decided to visit one of the local parks and have a picnic lunch. We invited the Parker's to go with us. We went to Las Islas which is in the town of Carcha about 10 minutes outside of Coban. This is a very nice place to go for a picnic and also to swim.

After arriving we all wished that we had brought a thermos of coffee and a book. It was very peaceful and relaxing sitting by the waterfalls and listening to the water. It was a fun outing.
I bet that was the best sandwich you ever ate. I wish I was there. Miss you bunches!
