September 2021 Newsletter

Life Lately Greetings from Mississippi!  We are thoroughly enjoying our time in the States.  It has been very refreshing to be back home for a while.  We are enjoying visits with friends and family. It has also been a joy to be in several different churches and seeing many of you in person.  We have had times of sharing as well as times of just being a part of the congregations.  We have loved both! Since our last update, we took a family trip to Montana to visit friends and see a few national parks. It was an amazing trip!  Also, the boys and I started back to school.  So far it is off to a great start.  You can scroll through our blog to see pictures.

We will be taking a road trip this month to do a few speaking engagements.  We have plans to share in two different Sunday morning services, a Wednesday night service, a youth and children's service, and a WMU luncheon.  We will cover two States and three churches.  Pray for safety of travel on the road  . In addition to that, we have a few local speaking engagements lined up.  David will be sharing at a men's prayer breakfast and we will all share with a group of children and youth on a Wednesday night. Pray for all of these times of sharing over the next few weeks.  Pray that God would speak through us as we share.

COVID Relief Below is a video that our May media team did to highlight our COVID relief efforts.  As you watch it, continue to pray for the people in Guatemala.  They, like the rest of the world, are being hit hard again with COVID cases.  Pray especially for those in the rural mountain areas who have limited access to medical care.  Pray God's protection over their health and lives.

We miss these precious people and are looking forward to the day that we can see them again face to face.  We are communicating with them on a weekly basis and doing our best to keep them encouraged. Many are struggling.  Please join us in praying for them.

Come See Us We anticipate a return to hosting volunteers in 2022.  If your church is looking for a place to serve, we would love to host you.  If you have worked with us in the past, start making plans now to return.  We would love to see many of you in Guatemala next year. Let us know how we can make that happen.
