September 2017 Newsletter

Pray for the Whites

Greetings from Mississippi! All is well in our little part of the world.  Most of August was centered around starting the new school year and establishing a good routine.  We are off to a great start and will finish week 4 this week.  Thank you for praying for our homeschool year.
We have enjoyed getting to do several speaking engagements this past month and are looking forward to more in the weeks ahead.  Pray for us as we travel and share.  Pray that we would encourage the churches and groups that we share with to get more involved in missions.
We are enjoying this season of rest.  Our family and friends have showered us with a lot of love and attention.  The boys are having a wonderful time and are getting to see and experience so many new, fun things.  Some of their favorites have been fishing, tubing, roller skating, and 4-wheeling.
During the month of September we will be making a three week road trip. We have stops in Georgia and South Carolina.  The main purpose of the trip is to visit our two partner churches in the Mt. Pleasant, SC area.  We will end the trip with an exciting family vacation before making the long drive back home. Pray for our travel and safety on the road.  Pray for our times of sharing while we are there.  Pray that we would enjoy some great fellowship with our friends and mission partners.  Pray for a lot of fun memories to be made for our family.

It is good to be back home but we often find our hearts thinking about our other home.  Continue to pray for our Bible study groups in Guatemala.  Pray for the leaders in each of the villages that we are working in.  Pray for the construction of the building in Nearar.  Pray for our ministry partner, Miguel, who is overseeing the work while we are away.  Pray for Bro. Elias and Bro. Fito, two local pastors that we are trying to encourage.  Pray for growth and maturity in the congregations that each of them lead.

Until next time...

Sending our love,
David, Regina, Cruz, and Ben
