Ben's One Month Update

Our baby Ben turns one month old today!
Yes, I am sniffling as I type this, haha.
So far he has been a very easy baby.  He pretty much eats and sleeps, and that's about it.  It has been an easy adjustment adding him into our family.  He is absolutely precious and we just want to eat him up everyday.
WHAT HAS HE BEEN UP TO LATELY?
*   He should be weighing around 8 pounds
*   He wears newborn diapers and 0-3 month clothes
*   He is a great nurser.  He likes to eat every 2.5- 3 hours during the day.  His first few weeks he would go one 4-6 hour stretch at night between feedings.  He hit a growth spurt and that changed, but we think he is getting back to normal.  He likes to eat as soon as he wakes up.  He usually falls asleep during feedings and it is very hard to keep him awake.  He takes a while to burp.

*   He does not like his diaper to be wet or dirty
*   He does not like loud noises.  Poor thing, he lives with Cruz who is very LOUD!
*   He rides well in his car seat despite a meltdown when we left the hospital
*   He loves to be held, especially by his mama

*   He still has his nights and days confused.  He sleeps hard all day long, but sleeps light during the night.  He will stay awake longer at night than in the day.  He does not fuss, but just stays awake.
*   We normally give him a bath around 7:30 p.m.  I nurse him around 8:00 p.m., and then we both go to bed.
*   He has A LOT of brown hair.  It is spiky and usually is all over the place.  I am constantly trying to make it lay flat.
*   He often smiles several times after feedings and it melts my heart.

*   He does not like taking a bath.  There has yet to be a night that he has not cried.
*   He likes his bouncy seat and will sit in it on the kitchen table while I cook and while we eat meals.
*   He sneezes a lot and it is very loud.  He also makes a grunting sound that is very loud.
*   He likes for his arms and hands to be free, and keeps them close to his face.
*   So far he seems to be very easy going, and content.  We hope that does not change.

He is very loved by his big brother.  Cruz likes to help me take care of him.

Not all of our moments are enjoyable, haha

He is a blessing and we are very thankful that he is ours!
