David's Lunch

David enjoyed his first local meal on Thursday for lunch.  He walked down the street and purchased a "plate lunch" from a couple of ladies.  He got several pieces of meat, black beans, rice, and tortillas for 10 Quetzales.  That's about $1.25 in U.S. money.  He was very proud!  I opted for a turkey sandwich and chips that I fixed myself.

  3. Oh yum! It reminds me of the food in Brasil...I really miss it! My gramma makes the best tortillas and the ones he ate look just like them.

    Happy SITS Sharefest!
