Closing the Door

I realize our posting has been very slow this month. It's been a crazy month around here as we've been getting ready to return to the States and I have lacked in the picture taking department. I will do better once things settle down.

Today is a big day for us. We will be leaving Coban! We'll be "closing the door" not only to our apartment but to this chapter of our lives. Although we are sad, we have great anticipation about the future!! We are looking forward to our time in the States as well as our return to the mission field next year.

We are not sure yet just exactly what all we are going to miss while we are away. I think we will be able to decide that once we "miss" it. ha But, we've been making a list of a few things we are looking forward to in the States. A few of those are: (in no particular order)

~seeing friends and family
~EATING!!!!!!!
~being able to flush our toilet paper
~a BATH TUB!!! ahhhh, can't wait to be able to soak in a tub
~going to Wal-Mart
~spending the holiday's (Thanksgiving & Christmas) at home
~basketball season
~English worship services
~maybe seeing some snow
~grocery shopping with unlimited options
~getting to wear my wedding ring

These are just a few of the many things we are looking forward to doing.

We'll be driving into Guatemala City today and will be there until we fly out. Please keep us in your prayers over the next few days. See many of ya soon!!
