It's Fair Time in Our Town!

The past few days have been rather lively in our town. It is the annual fair going on this week and every day there have been parades, bands, music, dances, cultural activities, and more starting early and finishing late. We only live two blocks from the Central Park and it's hard to stay home when you can hear all the activities going on!

The carnival part of the fair is taking place at the edge of town. We did not make it over there but I did take a photo as we drove by.

Below are several photos from one of the parades we attended. I LOVE a parade and we have them often here.

This parade had bands,
Queens, (I can't believe they walked in these shoes!!!)
Dancers,
Children,
and a little of everything else.

Here are a few videos of some of the parade-

  3. I was stopping by from SITS, just to show some comment love! I'm so glad I did, what an awesome blog I've found!

I also work in missions, though currently, I do so from my home because I have been very ill over the last 2 years. Right now, I help process applicants for medical missions for a very large mission organization. I did, however, participate in a few trips before becoming ill. In fact, I have a photo on my post today of the last trip I was able to participate in. It was a literal life changing experience. I really miss being able to go.

I'm really glad to 'meet you' and I look forward to reading more about your work. May God bless you as you bless others.

    Faithfully Serving Him,

    Teresa <><
