Cullman Mission Team Day 5

Day 5 began with breakfast at La Posada in Coban. It is our favorite place to have breakfast in our town! We left there and walked to the Dieseldorff coffee farm next door to where we live to let the team buy coffee to take home.
We then stopped by the K'ekchi' Baptist Association office to let the team look around. We call it the Coban LifeWay.
Visiting the pastor's study room
We then loaded up and headed to Chicoj to do the coffee tour and zipline.

After the tour and lunch at McDonald's, we traveled 4 hours back into Guatemala City. For dinner we went to eat at TGI Friday's. Jim & Phillip both celebrated birthday's this week so we had the waiters sing to them. At Friday's it is tradition for the birthday person to stand in their chair and dance around. Phillip was a good sport about this. Watch him on the video below.

The team returned to the States on Tuesday. We were sad to see them go. We had a wonderful week working with them!! They blessed our hearts and the hearts of the K'ekchi' people, and we hope that they will return again in the future.

  2. OK you can keep the zipline but the coffee, oh yeah!!!!! I would be all over that and would bring extra suitcases to cart some back home. The coffee from your area is awesome!
