Meeting the Millers!

First of all, thanks for your prayers for our travels today. We had a great trip into the city. We stopped by our mission office and checked our mail for the first time in over a month. We had several pretty Easter cards and a few anniversary cards. It always makes us very happy to get "snail mail". We received a very special letter from a little boy in Spring, Texas that we have never met. He wrote us a letter and sent us several drawings he made. It was the sweetest thing! Thanks Christopher!!!

We were anxious to get to the Arkansas Mission House to meet the newest members of our mission family, David & Glynis Miller. They just recently arrived in country. We have been writing back and forth with them for months and felt like we were meeting old friends. It was great to finally talk face to face with them. We all went out to eat at TGI Friday's, of course, and came back and played Mexican Train dominos. We look forward to getting to know them better and having more opportunities to fellowship with them. They are a lot of fun!

We now have three David's in our mission family!

  1. Looks like the 3 stooges are beginning to show up in a lot of pictures. Are they taking the place of the "turtle" rock or do y'all just really like eating there? I know it wouldn't be the latter at all. Ha Ha. Reagan.

  2. How fun to get regular mail. I was just thinking about my days as a summer missionary in California back in 1994. Email was non-existent as far as I knew so we relied on the usps. Those were our favorite times of the week.
