NO PARKING!

We have problems from time to time with people parking in front of our gate. There have been several times we could not get out or get back in. We have a "No Parking" sign on our gate but that does not seem to always help. People here paint outside on their sidewalks with bright red paint and supposedly anywhere red paint is, you cannot park there. David had painted outside our gate when we moved here but it had faded greatly. Today he repainted it. You can see from the photos below that it is pretty bright. We hope this helps. He also did some more painting in the guest apartment and hung me a new clothesline. I've had him pretty busy. :)

  1. You will have to show us some of these wonderful places when we arrive in Guatemala the end of April. We look forward to meeting you face to face! See you then!

What a wonderful place to begin the new year! When Glynis and I get to Guatemala, we hope you can help us discover some of those special places. One more trimester of language school and we are one the way-- April 25. We love the K'ekchi and have had some wonderful times in Coban and surrounding areas in the Owen-Greenwood days. Thanks for a great blog.
