An afternoon stroll

We started the day with another K'ekchi' class. We have now officially completed all of the grammar lessons!!! :) We plan to continue reviewing and using our tutors to help us with our conversation.

After class we came home to eat lunch and then had several errands to run. It has been BEAUTIFUL here the last several days. Very sunny and warm! It is supposed to start raining tomorrow and most likely turn cool again so we decided to take advantage of the nice weather and walk uptown instead of drive. I love it when we go walking. You see so much more.

After completing our errands, David decided for us to try out a new cafe' that had opened here a while back. We slipped in and instead of hot coffee, we ordered cappuchino's with ice cream. They were good. It was a cute little cafe with a lot of country decorations. Reminded us a little of home.
The only bad part about walking is the hills you have to climb to get uptown. It is straight up and then straight back down. You can't tell it from the photo below but this is the view heading back down. It's steep! We live at the end of this road to the left.

We are now back home and waiting to host our mid-week team prayer meeting at 2:30.

  1. Love the old cook stove and the array of coffee pots.
